There's not an awful lot to say about the Hospice Warehouse as goods are not sold from here but you can take large donations and bulky items here for the workers to sort and send to the most appropriate shops.
If you have a lot to give or difficulty getting your items to the warehouse or one of their shops then it's easy enough to call them and to arrange for their van to come and collect from you.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Usuário do Qype (amazin…)Woking, Reino Unido0416 de nov. de 2011
The team are all volunteers and are so superb at what they do. They sell many of their goods through on-line shopping sites such as eBay, I have purchased many items through this method and collected from the main warehouse to save on postage.
They distribute a vast quantity of high end goods to their Knaphill and central Woking branches, yet retain a proportion of collectable items to reserve for eBay auctioning. They have a strong customer base, flexible approach with clients as well as recruit volunteers from a variety of backgrounds, regardless of disability.
Having visited the warehouse on several occasions and my partner a former
employee, I am particularly impressed by the sheer volume of sorting they do on a daily basis. There are often trolleybus loads of donations more than there are volunteers, so their dedicated enthusiasm is amazing. They
also collect and deliver furniture and have specialist drivers to do the rounds
that are an everyday event.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
