So, I'm from Austin Texas. We have excellent beef, and excellent steakhouses. I'm typically not impressed with most steaks, but let me tell you. This Chuleta de Ternera may be one of the best Veal Cutlets I've ever had. It's extremely juicy. Just the right temperature and absolutely packed with flavor. It's a bit tough to cut, but it's still extremely tender. The veggies have a nice crunch without being overcooked. The potatoes are perfect and the Fabada is better than any bean soup my mom could have ever imagined. If you're looking for a nice, quality, filling and satisfying meal then definitely check this place out.

Tapas and appetizers here did not meet the standard of great food in Berlin. The seafood was not fresh, and the appetizers were cold. The atmosphere outside was very fun and well lit with heat lamps and blankets. However, I don't recommend the food. Pretty bland for tapas. Beer was reasonably priced though.

Stopped here for lunch while waiting out an imminent rain storm. a few tapas sounded like a plan. We ordered the fried sardines, lamb diablo, croquets with ham, and a salad. The sardines needed a pinch of salt, and were just above room temp. Kind of like they were made first and then sat around of a few minutes before being brought out to us. Not up to snuff at all. On the other hand the croquets were creamy and yummy. The lamb was tender and flavor full but not spicy as advertised. I guess they were meaning some other devil when they wrote the menu. The final kicker, however, was the salad. About every third or fourth bite included some sand. A little careful food prep might have gotten them another star. Not really on planing on coming back.
A side note, the pallela looked and smelled good. But not sure if I would get it as I saw more wurst come out of this restaurant than Spanish food. I'm sure they do that to meet a market, but it does seem odd they sell more German things than Spanish.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Claudia L.Los Angeles, Estados Unidos042229 de dez. de 2018
The food is ok but not outstanding. The eggplant (aubergine) is delicious, and the prawns are solid. The croquettes and calamari so-so. Atmosphere is warm and enticing. Service ok. They wanted 1 Euro to charge our phone, then when we went to sign up for WiFi, it didn't connect - they said there were too many people using the network. Both things kinda lame for a location like this. Overall an okay choice but not a stand-out.

Most important: excellent food! This is Pequeño España en Berlin. Friendly staff too, it was very hot, nobody was cranky. Well ok, they're from Spain, but still. Fast, delicious, friendly. All our favorite dishes were there and of excellent quality, really delicious. It was a delight and we'll certainly pay another visit when we're in Berlin again. Also, it wasn't expensive.

I went here for a meal tonight with my partner
. Long wait for anyone to approach our table. Eventually a male waiter took our order. Most unfriendly person. Beers came after 10 min wait. 10 mins later bread put on table. No Olive oil presented. 10 mins later meal came. V basic no water bowl to wash hands after eating jumbo prawns. No one came to check if meal ok. On paying bill waiter went off without giving change back , almost €5 .Most unfriendly waiter. I demanded my change back as we hadn't received any service of note. Grudgingly apologised but his arrogance was still prevailing. I felt very let down by the whole experience and would suggest this establishment be AVOIDED.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Arturo G.Lichtenberg, Berlim, Alemanha33818 de nov. de 2014
My group of friends and I had the curry-wurst, which happened to be the special of the day.
1.) The waitress didn't approach the table, we had to get up and request one after a 15 min wait.
2.) Her attitude was super unfriendly, and a total bitch. She even went out of her way to avoid asking at the end of our meal if we wanted the check, or anything else to drink.
3.) After waiting infront of our empty plates, a member of the party went inside and paid because she never came back.
I'm used to service being different that the one in the USA, but this was the worst experience of my life. And I'll NEVER go back there. Please take this into consideration if you have the urge to visit. BEWARE!!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Belitza D.San Antonio, Estados Unidos121151426 de mai. de 2018
The food was decent but not much authentic as far as flavor. The sangria watered down. Other than that good atmosphere with music and nice staff

I like Vivolo. It is a tourist place, but manages to maintain level of service and quality that makes locals come back - esp. in summer, sitting at the tables outside at Hackescher Markt is super-nice. The food is pretty good too, a spanish tapas standard. Very nice wine by the glass (Fontal La Mancha is my favorite there).
