      Used them because they were recommended to us, but never again.
      Our flight arrived on time at Heathrow but we were charged an enormous "wait
      fee" by the driver because they don't know how to time arriving--we provided the exact information when we phoned to book, so there was no communication issue. Total paid was more than any black cab fare we've ever paid for same trip. Do not recommend

      This company falsely promises to pick you up and only fulfils the job if it suits them.

      The driver failed to check the flight information given, failed to pick up and completely refused to help when we needed to get home with a young baby. They had a driver in the airport vicinity who was less than ten minutes away, but for their own convenience decided they would send another driver 45 minutes away instead.

      It is hugely disappointing after 25 years of loyal custom. The selfishness and self-entitlement of this company is not to be believed. They would much sooner blame the customer, make false promises and only send cars when it is convenient to fulfil a promised job.

      We have always ignored the dismal ratings other reviewers have given as loyal customers. Now we learn our lesson and hope nobody repeats the same mistake.

      Avoid it if you can!!!

      I landed in London Luton at 00:50 AM on the 16th of July and my reservation was for 1:10 AM. I called them at 1:05 because I didn't receive any information on the driver. They put me in contact with the first driver who told me that it would take him at least 30 minutes before arriving in Luton.

      I called the company back and told them about the problem and they mentioned that they founded another driver and that it would take them 10 minutes to arrive. I asked to receive a text with the driver car and plate. After 10 minutes I didn't receive anything so I called back.

      They mentioned that the driver had a problem and will not come. They spoke to another one and it would take at least 40 minutes. At that point was 1:40.

      I cancelled the reservation and called uber.

      Lack of communication, doggy and completely useless!!!!

      My early morning journey to London City Airport from Kensington with Swiss Cottage Cars was among the most pleasant I've had in recent memory.

      The previous night I'd called for a car to arrive at 5:15 the next morning on the suggestion of someone who uses these folks regularly. I'd planned on stepping out to the High Street and flagging a cab but I was assured this was a cheaper, better option.

      Around 5:02 I saw a silver Benz pull up and stop in front. I figured this was the car of one of my posh neighbors, waiting to whisk him/her to an investment bank in the City. When I opened my front door a few minutes later I discovered this car was actually waiting for me.

      The kind driver slung my case into the boot and we were off, with a soundtrack of poppy tunes to help get me ready for my day. He was delightful to chat to and during the ride I watched the sun(!) rise over London. En route he stopped at a cash point for me, which was helpful and right along the way to LCY.

      In all, the ride was about 30 minutes in duration (all of them pleasant) with a tariff that was easy to digest. I will definitely be calling on Swiss Cottage Cars again.

      Once upon a time, about two years ago, this company was great: now they stink.
      NO customer service and NO car even though it was booked from overseas for two LHR arrivals. Never again. Uber is just fine!

      One star only because I can't give zero. We booked a car for a 6:15 pickup for a wedding an hour outside of London. At 6 we got a text to say it would be 20 mins late. It arrived at 6:30. We got in and the driver said he couldn't take us because he had been assigned another job. We asked him to call the dispatcher and confirm he had picked us up. He said he couldn't. At 6:32 we called customer service and they said the driver told them we were late and rude to him. We were neither. At 6:36 we got a cancellation text from them. They said they could send another car but it would take an hour. We had to get an uber at twice the price due to surge prices in the rain on a Saturday night.

      They don't even deserve one star. From the get go it was awful. I had the most unprofessional journey back from Gatwick on Saturday evening. Firstly she lost her car in the car park and made my boyfriend walk around three floors looking for her car. This took 45 minutes. My driver refused to drive back into London through the Blackwell tunnel and insisted on adding an extra 45 mins to our journey by going through Greenwich. Her reasoning was we would be stuck in traffic. She then wanted another drop off address because every sat nav said go through the tunnel, when we insisted that was the route we would go she then decided she would smoke in the car!!!

      We cut the journey short yet still paid her £74 ... rude ... abnioxious ... awful service.

      This is my local cab service, and have friends that have worked there, but i remain impartial.
      Great idea, but when the tell you to get a cab from another company or tell theres none available when I can see the drivers sitting in they're cars... I don't understand really. Over the years as the business got bigger the service got worse, not due to the cabbies but the infrastructure and the staff are just on some weird power trip, and they charge about £2 extra on every £5 it would cost from somewhere else. I remember once there was an argument over the radio, but you only heard one side... it was funny at the time but if I the sensibilities of a delicate young flower of person, I would have fainted and needed medical attention. The Language the controller was using at the time was awful.

      Wow cheap and reliable on a saturday night. They came to Soho within half an hour's notice at 3am and took us home to Highgate for £11. That's really damn cheap, most people charge £20-30 at that time.

      The cab was clean and they communicated well.

      I see that they have some bad reviews so I may end up updating this but for now their number is going in my phonebook.

      I use this cab service and I forget my tested glasses in cab I called the cab driver for over a month to ask of my glasses he ignore me phone calls and text
      This company is very unprofessional
