Headed here for lunch on a packed Sunday afternoon with no reservation. Somehow they had kept a big table open so was able to sit the five of us without a wait.
To start off ordered a Carling (£3) as well as Masala Vadai (£1.75) and Onion Bhaji (£3.25). The Vadai is super dense, yet good flavor and served with a flavorful chutney. Bhaji is fried well albeit more on the oily side. For the main course, had the Chili Chicken (£7.25) and the Paratha (£1.25). Large chunks of marinated chicken with a spicy kick; could have used more chili but great alongside the Paratha and some raita.
Service here wasn't all that fast as they couldn't handle the crowds very well. Nonetheless the food made up for it, so worth it if it's not too busy.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Marie L.Greenwich, Estados Unidos1274621 de set. de 2018Primeira avaliação
Amazing food!! Honestly, you need to stop and eat here, any of the curries are excellent and the Cheese Naan is to die for! The Prawn appetizer with the home made chili sauce was so good we ordered another! We also ordered the most tender pork chops as an appetizer. The service was outstanding they are so accommodating and welcoming.

This restaurant has been here for a long time and looks inviting from the outside. I went there because where I wanted to go was empty and nothing worse than eating in an empty restaurant. It has a wide and extensive menu with rabbit and venison for example. The service is a little haphazard but friendly. The toilets are very clean! The food is not that bad but not good either! It seems to be very difficult to find a good Sri Lankan restaurant anywhere. Two nearby in Hendon and West Hampstead have recently closed after many years. Now Sri Lankan food is lovely as are the people. Its such a pity their restaurants are such a problem I can only advise anyone who loves this food to go to two ( of the three ) South Indian Tamil restaurants in Willesden Lane Kilburn where the food is far better.
