Charged $3 for each water and on the ticket it said it was Green Tea. Lame excuses from waitress. Ordered sashimi that was priced a lower amount per order on the menu handed us. The chef in charge told the waitress to charge us much higher per order on this item, which she did. The fish was not bad. The yellowtail was very good and fresh and clean, delicious. The night before we ate at this place and the food was all excellent. And then today happened. Not honest. Screwy excuses. So, some of the food is very good, depending upon the night or day. But truly inconsistent and dishonest, pay for water because it prints out as green tea? We would have gone back every week, probably. Not ever again.

We were so delighted with the great appetizer brisket meatballs, so tender and the sauce rich with flavor that only long simmering can bring to a sauce. We had met an owner of a local microbrewery who told us a little about this pizza place. It was a great pizza. Any dish you order here is superior in a yummy and special way. So glad for the success of this place.

Very unfortunate situation here. Christmas Eve, the bar was loaded, at least 30 guests. Beautiful Day, Holiday spirit. But the bartender was alone and completely overwhelmed and unable to offer service to very many customers. She chose to be overly chipper and friendly to those customers whom she knew, and she proceeded to decidedly ignore everyone else. She served flat champagne, knowing it was gone, and did not offer to replace it at $14 a glass. Instead, she merely took it off the tab. Her back was to most of us most of the time. Perhaps she has found a better line of employment by now. This was not completely her fault, not at all. MANAGEMENT put her in this position, which therefore put many customers in a position of being ignored and literally mistreated. Not good, not acceptable, for a historic venue with such a stellar rep. Not stellar anymore.

we came into town day before Mardi Gras. We stood just a few minutes and the dude at the register, speaking with authority, informed us we would have to wait on a list for 30 minutes to get a table. There were tables all over the place available. We said we'd wait. He sauntered off and another guy showed up. My friend pitched this new guy a five and he found us a table pronto. So, yeah, that's how it works here. She was inventive enough. We were told could not order Lattes or specialty coffee bevs for a long while. In fact, no coffee at all for a while. I figured, somebody doesn't want to maintain the espresso machine. I know all about espresso machines. Labor intensive. We ordered French Toast which should take about ten minutes tops. it took 45 minutes. Is somebody recovering from brain surgery in the kitchen? Maybe the chef is into Tai Chi and is moving real slow. The waiter was very kind and friendly. Brought us our breakfast, and then gave us free regular coffees when the regular coffee maker recovered from it's journey into the netherworld. Some of the folks here, running this lovely place, just don't give a rat's butt. The food was good but certainly no better than anything I whip up in my own kitchen in 1/4 the time. I guess they hate people. If we'd been two handsome gay men oozing with charm, lattes would have been no problem. Everybody else can just "get over it and forget about it."

really loved Jimmy's live music. Friendly crowd, dance atmosphere. Nice local clientele; however, if you order Crown Royal at the bar, you should taste it. My shot of "Crown Royal" was NOT Crown Royal. I've been drinking it for 40 years. The bartender poured it from a Crown Royal bottle, but it was not the Crown Royal I have been drinking all my life. Maybe the manager needs to check & see if some fake junk is being poured into the bottles from the actual liquor provider. I can't believe the bartender or staff would do this on purpose. But it was definitely not Crown or anything near it. It was just a real strange mistake, as far as the bar product is concerned. We were just visitors, not regulars. We didn't mention the crummy whiskey switcharoo to anybody. But maybe somebody who runs quality control on the joint should check it out. One of us owns a bar just outside Portland, Oregon, and we realize unexpected unfortunate things happen sometimes. And when we ordered the drinks at bar side, the bartender sort of "forgot" to return the five dollars we were owed in return. Had to remind her about that.
