Room was cleaned and adequately supplied throughout my stay. Front desk was helpful when needed, although communication between evening and day was not great. (My wife was in the hospital - 3 day stay ended up being 10 - and I extended twice through the evening shift, but day shift still ended up calling my wife in the hospital on original check out day to ask if we were checking out!)
One evening the hot water spewed yellow gook and did not work; no notification or warning. Upon inquiry, I was told it was being repaired and to let water run for 15 minutes; issue was not fully resolved for over a day. Faucet in fancy bathroom sink spews water everywhere.
Internet was erratic; often was very slow.
For the price we paid, I expected to receive a complementary breakfast; hotel only provided a for-pay coffee bar.
Although within the civic center, don't expect to go for relaxing or sightseeing walks. The number of unhoused people blocking the sidewalks is a depressing sight; even more depressing is that a city with such extreme wealth cannot find a solution. One should also wear a mask when venturing outdoors - the amount of feces is abundant.

We wanted to find someone to maintain our water system (iron filter, softener, etc.), and Mendocino Coast Water Works was recommended to us. I called this morning and said it wasn't urgent but we'd like to have someone come out to do the maintenance. Carol promptly called to say she could have someone out this afternoon!

It is not uncommon on the North Coast to wait days for a response (or not get one at all) and then to wait days or weeks for someone to actually show up. On responsiveness alone, they get 5 stars.

On professionalism and friendliness, another 5 stars. Ryan reviewed our system, made adjustments, and, more importantly, explained to us how things worked. We will be customers of Mendocino Coast Water Works from now on.

Collin gave us exceptional customer service. He thoroughly explained what he thought he could do to make my guitar more comfortable to play, and he did it in less than 2 days and at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.
