The owners have spent a lot of money revamping this place. It looks great. The lanes are clean and well lit. Lane three could use some attention on the tension line. The target swings with the slightest breeze. The range now has a good air conditioning unit to keep the smell of gun powder limited. The place has made huge steps forward in being a nice place to shoot.

You can rent ARs to test fire. Standard handguns are also available to try out. You can buy plinking rounds for about $5 less than if you bought them at Big 5.

This place deserves 1.5 stars but I gave them a 2 for nostalgic reasons. I have been going to this range since the 90s and have seen a few different owners. I will not be returning to this place. All the work and effort (read: Money) that has been put into making this place shiny and clean has been passed on to the customer. The lane fee is $14 per shooter. That is a bit steep. It used to be a lane fee and a small addition for each shooter. Spectators are now CHARGED $5 to watch. That is ridiculous!!! Glasses and hearing protection used to be free to use. Now it is $2 to RENT a pair of clear glasses. I do not know what they are charging for hearing protection.

I can not get over the fact they are charging people to watch. This is not a sniper school where people are watching full professionals with a question and answer period. This is a place where people who enjoy shooting can come and spend time with friends and family to share a hobby.

I will not be coming back until I see a review that states they have changed their policies that are more friendly. There are plenty of indoor shooting ranges in Southern Calif to go to one that charges friends and family to watch!

Thouroughly disgusted.
