Waldy's Wood Fired Pizza & Penne

The pizza was truly amazing, but sadly, the restaurant didn't make it through the pandemic. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a reopening someday.

Unfortunately they are closed!!!!
This place was amazing! I don't know if it is for renovation but everything looks from the inside that they are closed permanently.

I mean look. This isn't like proper pizza. It's a flatbread with prepackaged "dough". Like the premade stuff you can buy at the grocery so the 6 year old you're babysitting can make their own pizza. So the "wood fired" advertising is a bit misleading. It's technically cooked in a wood-fire oven, but the whole point of that method is to get that bubbly, slightly charred, crispy dough. That's not what you're getting.

The margherita pizza was like a spin off, not authentic or "classic". With melted shredded cheese as the base and cut up cherry tomatoes. Didn't taste bad but wasn't great.

My friend said it perfectly. It's a decent pizza you can get for $8 on your lunch break. With a $5 IPA mind you, so that kept me happy. It is what it is. But if you want proper pizza this isn't it.

Very good flatbread pizza! I got the small mushroom and red onion pizza. It hit the spot and it was hot and delicious. The reason I docked a star was because the person making my pizza didn't bother wearing a mask and that bothered me. For a pretty cheap pizza and beer this is a great place to pick up pizza!

First time I've ever tried lamb on pizza and it won't be the last. I was a little skeptical and asked the guy taking my order how it was.

The pizza included ; lamb, lemon and oregano.

Lemon on pizza was also a first. But after taking my first bite I knew right away they are on to something.

Absolutely must try!

Stopped in for a pizza, since it was right around the corner from our hotel. The place is small, but there are several places to sit. We ordered a large margarita pizza for the three of us and the size was just right. My daughter also ordered the Caesar salad, which was just okay (lettuce was a bit old), but our pizza was good, and I would definitely go back to have another pizza.

There is nothing wrong with their pizza. I just had a bad order of a sunny side egg on my thin crust... not enough cheese and it was a little dry

I honestly think this is the best , most authentic pizza ever , I got the Margarita pizza , it's sooo good. They do not sell regular slices , however you won't regret purchasing a pie .....

We had just arrived in NYC, and were craving some authentic New York style pizza. As we checked into our hotel, I asked the front desk people if they had any recommendations? They both kind of laughed and then said Waldy's. I asked why the giggle, and they informed me that they had literally just ordered delivery from here! If that isn't an endorsement, I don't know what is.

We were ready to stretch our legs, so we walked to the restaurant to dine in. Small space, 3 or 4 two tops and a long high top that had another 4 or 5 chairs. We had the plain four cheese pizza, and the mushroom and onion.

Both were amazing! The crust was done perfectly. The sauce has a really great flavor, and toppings were fresh and delicious. We left with plans to return before the trip was over.

Braised lamb pizza is so yummy! The atmosphere is really inviting and warm - perfect for any season (except summer).

Nice people and three sizes of pizza.
