Park Inn

First time stay with park inn hotel, my partner and I booked the room from this hotel, first of all it was because it's location, it isn't really located at the center, but not far. By publictransport, the U-Bahn Station UniversitätStraße is fairly close by. And only took around 10 mins to get to the city center.

We were here at the hot season. So it was quite pricey if we booked the hotel regularly. Luckily, we got the promotion price. Although our room weren't that big, it was quite comfortable and clean. It was kind of pity no minibar in the room. And no free Internet. People has to paid for it it if they want to use the hotel's internet. Luckily my 4G was enough for me. The bathroom was nice, nothing fancy.

What I really like is the breakfast buffet in this hotel, they got many different options and serval of them I think it was quite rare as breakfast in Germany. Most of the food they offered, it was what I like ver much. There was a also a cook there make different style dishes of egg. The omelette was very delicious. As drinks, there were different kind of juices, teas and coffee can choose from. It was the best way to start the day.

One more thing, I think the service here was great. The staff were super friendly when we were there. If you had any question, they will try their best to help out. At the end, I would like to say that we did enjoy our staying here . At least for me, that was the case.

This hotel was a good selection for the price. It is not located near an "interesting" or old part of Cologne, and getting to old town is about a 1.5 mile walk or requires the use of transit.

The rooms are modern and well kept, very clean. The rooms are efficient, not luxurious, but did the job. The staff at the front desk was friendly and also efficient.

I bought the breakfast option, and the breakfast was so-so......it had the basics: eggs to order, fruit, coffee bar, some bread and cheese, but the selection was very limited for the price which I believe was about 15E per day.

There is a small bar adjacent to the restaurant.

I would rather pay a bit more and be closer to some nightlife and sights.

I've stayed several days over the last few months, in Cologne; from New York. The staff here is absolutely fantastic. Special call outs to A. , M., and the woman at the desk in the mornings, who I unfortunately didn't catch the name of. I would most certainly stay again. Thank you!
