La Cave aux Fromages

We stopped here on our tour of Reims to taste some delicious cheeses. This is a great place to pick up some cheese; the shop owner is very nice. There is a bakery next door to the shop, where you can pick up a baguette to go with your cheeses.

We sought an authentic fromagerie during our recent trip to Reims--one with regionally produced cheeses to accompany our Champagne from the Clos du Mont D'Hor. We found here a well stocked shop with a polite and knowledgeable staff, who guided us to a creamy Langres and a fragrant Maroilles Fermier. Both were fresh and delicious.
