Lovely, cozy ambiance and delicious food! The lamb tajine was just perfect, one of my favorite meals in Paris so far.

Do not miss this! The food is incredible. The lamb tajine is to die for. It's the best tajine I've ever had, including in Morocco. The grilled meats, chicken tajine with olives and lemon, and appetizers are also all excellent. Everything I've eaten here has been so flavorful and fresh. The portions are also generous. The service is absolutely wonderful.

Our best meal in Paris. Our son recommended this place after visiting Paris a few months earlier. We had the appetizer plate with "Aubergine caviar" that turned out to be the best baba ganoush ever! Also with that appetizer were some sautéed peppers, other vegetables and a bit of canned tuna. For main dishes we had a chicken tagine stew with figs, dates, almonds - divine! All tagines come with a big bowl of fluffy couscous. We also had a grilled lamb kebab and sausage dish that came with plenty of vegetables.. Too full for dessert! They also have fun cocktails and mocktails. Be warned that they open for dinner at 7, even though Yelp may say otherwise, and The Fork website claims to make reservations starting at 6.

When you're ready for a down home tagine with neighborhood flavor, stop by here for authentic, off the "worn-down-tourist-path" North African cuisine. For those who have tired of Chez Omar.

This was my favorite place and meal on my recent trip to Paris in October. I had lamb tajine and couscous, 1/2 liter Algerian wine and citron sorbet. 32 euros. I got there at 6.30 but it was still closed. It opens at 7. So I went back at 7 and got a nice table. I was the only single diner. Thanks for not making me feel weird about this. I love cous cous and a must have when I visit Paris. This is one of those foods we really don't get in California. I also enjoyed the neighborhood and will be back. Merci.

Fabulous lamb tajine and couscous. Flavors all in balance, which is hard to do with salted preserved lemons. The lamb was flavorful, the veggies all fresh and the broth just enough for a last few bites soaked up in the leftover couscous. Service was friendly and musician walking around playing mood music was a nice touch.

The bastila is spectacular (though once, only once, I found it a little greasy) and the tagine with dates and almonds a feast for the senses. Pair with an Algerian red and wash with the house mint tea.

One of the top 5 meals of my life. Found this place last summer and the waitstaff could not have been more jovial and friendly, the ambiance was super-cool, especially downstairs, and the food was just outstanding. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR NORTH AFRICAN FOOD IN PARIS THIS IS THE PLACE YOU'RE LOOKING FOR.
