King Size Bar

Really bad place, not friendly at all with tourists. A german friend recommend it to us, but we try to get in and they said it was a private party, by invitation only.
Also, not AT ALL LGBT friendly. They have and old sexist mentality that a man can only get in with a woman.
Berlin is an amazing city, with loads of options. I suggest travellers not to waste their time here.

king size bar feels more of a twin size you are sharing with bob "the refrigerator" and his 20 inch rod rather than what its name might be telling you.
for a place opened by the owner of grill royal this small room is relatively unpretentious sharing bonds with the renown restaurant only through some in the crowd, including myself, that dined there before coming to this store front of a dance bar. please take that as my walk of shame rather than any flailed attempt to render some glitz (more on that to come on the grill royal review). the crowd eclectic and the music pleasant but expect to brush with no kings and be confused by the name even as you leave the place. wait!!! i get it, the joke is on me.

Not very friendly to tourists. Our German friend recommended it, but when we went, a "bouncer" told us it was for private parties only and we needed to be invited by the owner. Yeah, right.

Good music, hole in the wall, hipster joint. Great for drinks, but the later you go the crowded it gets so make sure to get there early. Wouldn't recommend staying all night if you want to go dancing since the dance floor is also a tight squeeze.

By far the coolest bar in Berlin - if you can get past the doorman. Come around 0-3pm. You won't leave this place before sunrise.
