Irish Castle Pub

My favorite pub in Europe. When there's live music, it's always lively and fun. Be sure to add to the top jar, the staff work super hard.

I like it best whenever some of the locals and regulars get together to have a little music / drinking session.

The Castle is now a smoke free pub (thankfully!). They regularly have live music there - on Monday, there is a session with Eamon Toland & Friends and there is a regular live stage programme throughout the week. The whisk(e)y selection is certainly one of the most varied in Nuremberg and there is a whisk(e)y tasting once a month. They have lots of different beers there too! On the third Sunday of every month, there is a Pub Quiz with Big Kev Murphy (Nuremberg's oldest) which takes about 3-4 hours and which is still a very popular event.
