I called them up on Thursday 1st October and spoke to a lady who told me the exchange rates. I asked her specifically if they would buy my 1 and 2 Euro coins. She said yes.

I arrived with my notes and coins and the man behind the counter bluntly and rudely stated "We don't accept coins". I told him I spoke with a lady on the phone the day before who said they did. Then another man, who later revealed himself arrogantly to be the owner, said no one else worked there and he did not care who I called and spoke to and insisted that he would not accept my coins. He then told me to "Go to Marks and Spencer's, I am not changing any of your money here.", whilst accusing me of being rude.

Go to Euroexchange on Charing Cross Road instead.

They are friendly, have a good rate and they exchange coins.

Heck, go to Marks and Spencers like the guy told me, at least they will treat you like a human
