Came to Bella Paulista as a recommendation from a family member and I am so glad we came. Close to the Avenida Paulista this centrally locates bakery is a must when visiting São Paulo. Now don't confuse this bakery for the ones you're used to in the US this place serves your decadent Brazilian desserts, but also salgadinos and pizza. From the looks the pizza looked amazing but I wasn't that hungry and opted for some coxinha de galinha and Bella Paulist hit the spot. Not too much dough and the chicken was perfectly seasoned and fried.

The ultimate Brazilian Bakery! They quite literally have everything! We had breakfast with breads and açaí, but the table next to us had barbecued ribs and vegetables which looked amazing. And the area to buy bakery items is just as good! If you are near Paulista Avenue, check it out!

I love this bakery! The chicken pie is amazing! There are varieties to each taste, finger food, breads, soups, ice cream etc. They work 24h 7/7 and the price is ok!

This was one of my favorite places in São Paulo! I love walking past desserts and baked items-some one display for you to try. I know that it is simple but I love pão na chapa. My girl ate a misto quente which was also good. I also ate pão de queijo (which I ate everyday I was there) Everything I ate there was excellent and the place is always busy which says a lot about it!

A great place to start the trip. We had the breakfast buffet, with all the fresh fruit and pastries being fresh, sweet or savory, veggie or meat.
they also have small grocery store (a little over priced), and pastries to buy by the pound (well, the kilo).
It's a beginning of a beautiful friendship. We'll be back to explore the menu!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - German S.Downtown, Los Angeles, Estados Unidos43455151 de mai. de 2017

A great place for a Brazilian breaky! A bit busy during weekend mornings, but it is worth waiting for either a place at the balcon or a table. My suggestion for non Brazilians is to grab a orange fresh juice or coffee and a "pão francês com requeijão". The entry balcon on which the sweets are is also very tempting and I'm sure you'll be in doubt about which one to try.

From a tourist's perspective I can only say: WOW!!! It is definitely a must on a list of culinary places to visit whilst in São Paulo. It is a paradise for bakery lovers and although I am not one, I absolutely loved the other sorts of food as you could also enjoy a variety of breakfast/ brunch delicacies all warm and freshly cooked with a choice of a set menu or a buffet.
From a local's perspective: quite pricey, crowded ( for obvious reasons) and a not an day to day dining choice.
They also serve the famous São Paulo style pizza which as the saying goes: is the best pizza in the world - even better than in Italy :) Been there, done that - it's absolutely true !!!!!
And I was too busy enjoying the food on my plate to take photos on this occasion ;)Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - 26 de fev. de 2014
My love for São Paulo pretty much started the moment I laid eyes on Bella Paulista.
It's a gourmet grocery meets all night New York diner meets more baked goods than you can imagine.
In four words: I love Bella Paulista.
I love lunching here. I love getting tiny boxes of cookies and eating them whenever hunger sets in. I love going here three days in a row and never having the same thing twice. From fresh juices (abacaxi com hortelã!) to hearty Brazilian soul food, Bella Paulista is flawless.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
